Starting in December 2023, organizations with at least 50 employees need to have a whistleblowing function to stay compliant. Learn how companies and company groups can effectively plan for and adapt to these changes.

09:45 – 10:15 Delphi: Identifying Whistleblowing Cases (Swedish Session)

Explore the criteria for determining whether a situation qualifies as a whistleblowing case. Gain valuable insights into the factors to consider when making this decision. Practical examples will be evaluated with the audience.

10:15 – 10:45 NAVEX: Investigating Whistleblowing Matters (English Session)

Discover the essential steps involved in investigating a whistleblowing case. Our team will present a comprehensive plan to guide you through the process, including the proper format for reporting and providing feedback to the whistleblower. Experience a live demonstration using NAVEX WhistleB, with a volunteer acting as the whistleblower and another individual managing the reports and responding to the whistleblower’s inquiries. This interactive dialogue will allow us to collectively analyze the situation and discuss the best course of action.

    Rebecka specializes in labour law and has several years of experience of implementing whistleblowing systems and is responsible for receiving and investigating whistleblowing cases for a number of clients, among them several international company groups listed on the stock exchange and public businesses. In her labour law practice she gives advice to HR departments and other management functions in relation to inter alia reorganizations and redundancies, transfer of business, individual employment issues, negotiations with unions, trade secrets and work environment issues.

    An expert in organisational whistleblowing management, Jan was engaged in the development of the new ISO 37002 Guidance on whistleblowing management systems, is a frequent speaker on subjects related to whistleblowing, and has authored various articles on new legislation concerning whistleblower protection, anti-corruption and organisational whistleblowing best practices.

    Jan is CIPP/E is an International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E). He holds a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) from King’s College London in the United Kingdom (EU Competition Law) and a master’s degree (LL.M) from Leiden University in the Netherlands (European Law).
