Failures within the supply chain can be devastating for a business, and any leader working with suppliers and vendors knows how vital these partners are to your business. In today’s risk landscape, cybersecurity risks from suppliers, vendors and third parties are top-of-mind for leaders who work to manage their supply chain.
According to Gartner®, “Chief supply chain officers face immediate, complex and challenging cybersecurity risks with high-impact threats to their supply chain operations, revenue and profit.” Also, “Supply chain cyberattacks pose a material risk to the organization’s operations, production lead times, logistics and product delivery. Cyberattacks result in high recovery cost, supply chain partner loss of confidence, consumer loss of confidence and loss of reputation in the marketplace.”
