PORTLAND, Ore.—October 1, 2024 – NAVEX, the global leader in integrated risk and compliance management software, today announced the winners of its 2024 NAVEX Excellence Awards. Now in its fourth year, the awards recognize organizations demonstrating exceptional commitment to corporate governance, risk mitigation and ethical practices. Selected from a competitive pool of finalists, this year’s recipients exemplify how effective governance, risk and compliance (GRC) initiatives can strengthen corporate culture and drive meaningful business outcomes.

The NAVEX Excellence Awards span organizational sizes, industries and countries across three main categories.       

Excellence in Ethics and Compliance Award

The Excellence in Ethics and Compliance category recognizes companies that demonstrate a commitment to building and maintaining an ethical workplace exhibited through a culture of compliance. Winners were selected across geographic regions and company size. 

  • CareSource, Americas, mid-market, healthcare winner – CareSource is a nonprofit health plan and national leader in managed care with over 30 years of experience serving low-income populations. They currently serve 2.3+ million members across 30 states (eight states with insurance products: Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio and West Virginia).   • Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, APAC, enterprise, healthcare winner – Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited is driven by a continuous commitment to create “A New Way for a New World.” Harnessing the potential of their core strengths of innovation, research and scientific knowledge, they remain determined to consistently challenge established treatment paradigms to make a considerable difference to the lives of patients in different geographies.
  • International Testing Agency, international, enterprise winner – The International Testing Agency is a not-for-profit organization committed to safeguarding the integrity of sports worldwide. They independently manage anti-doping programs for international federations and major events organizers. Their mission is to protect athletes’ welfare, inspire fans and future generations, and ensure everyone can believe in clean sport. Through transparency and expertise, they lead collaborative efforts in full compliance with regulations, fostering trust in the global sport community.
  • Itron, Inc., Americas, mid-market winner – Itron is a proven global leader in energy, water, smart city, IIoT and intelligent infrastructure services.   • UT-Battelle/Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Americas, enterprise winner - UT-Battelle manages and operates the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy. As a multi-disciplinary research institution, ORNL delivers scientific discoveries and technical breakthroughs to realize solutions for complex challenges including the transition to clean energy, mitigation of climate change, improvements to human health, and innovation that strengthens economic competitiveness.

Excellence in Risk Management Award

Recognizing organizations that elevate risk management to grow business resilience and responsiveness by using risk-signal data to inform business decisions, the Excellence in Risk Management category winner is: 

  • Radian Group Inc. – Radian Group Inc. is committed to ensuring the American dream of homeownership responsibly and sustainably through products and services that include industry-leading mortgage insurance and a comprehensive suite of mortgage, risk, title, valuation and other real estate services. As a market leader, they help increase access to and affordability of sustainable homeownership through their technology, data and exceptional customer service.

Risk and Compliance Program of the Year

The Risk and Compliance Program of the Year award recognizes organizations that successfully remove data and operational silos to align ethics, compliance, IRM and other GRC initiatives. The winners are:
