During his more than 20 years of corporate law and compliance experience, Shon has managed corporate law departments and counseled multi-national corporations with respect to transactional and compliance matters. As general counsel, he is responsible for the legal department and provides direction and oversight to the human resources and global privacy functions. Shon previously served as general counsel for various publicly-traded and private companies, with concentrations in technology and energy. He has also been a partner in some of the world’s largest law firms, counseling clients on corporate and regulatory compliance matters as part of his practice focus on international, cross-border transactions and clients. Shon focuses on improving policies, procedures and developing people to achieve their greatest potentials. Shon is a frequent speaker and writer on regulatory, compliance and cybersecurity issues. He earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.S. in Business Management, summa cum laude, from Park University.
